The Federal Skilled Worker program is part of the Economic Class and this is managed by the Express Entry program. The Federal Skilled Worker Program is for individuals who wish to migrate to Canada as a working professional and can establish themselves economically in the country. Skilled workers are chosen as permanent residents in Canada based on their education, work experience, knowledge of English and/or French, and few other factors that often help them succeed in Canada.

Approximate processing times are currently 6 months once an Invitation to Apply (ITA) is received.
